Rat boxes

January 22, 2011

We have been busy boating the last few days taking RFA back and forth from their ship and the next two days we will be doing the same with the Royal Navy. In the short periods between I have been busy in the wood shop making rat bait boxes. Tommy, Rob, Alastair and Kieron have joined in at various points to help out as well. 40 boxes to be made.

  1. Been enjoying your blog since about this time last year; had to comment on this one. 8^D

Good luck with the rats. If they prove too elusive I recommend “Rat: How the worlds most notorious rodent clawed its way to the top” by Jerry Langton. Interesting read if you’re not squeamish about them.

looking forward to seeing you, do we need to bring our Musto’s fowl weather

  4. No but the money was still well spent mum 🙂 they did teach us how to change tyres and wire a plug!

  5. Musto will work fine. Looking forward to seeing you soon as well.

  6. Thanks. The rat eradication will be an interesting thing to be involved in on the fringes! Two helicopters come in very soon to start spreading bait and we will be doing lots of hand baiting.
