At least we made some use of it while it was here and hopefully we will get some more in the near future. I introduced everyone to American pancakes &#8211; buckwheat ones to be exact and they seemed to go down a treat. There was some educating of how to eat them required &#8211; as in no lemon and sugar instead butter and maple syrup. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/fresh.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/fresh.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"fresh\" width=\"448\" height=\"336\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3298 colorbox-3296\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We also had some very tasty freshies &#8211; pineapple, oranges and melon.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/muffins.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/muffins.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"muffins\" width=\"448\" height=\"336\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3299 colorbox-3296\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The bananas that were not doing so well when they got here I made into banana muffins. <\/p>\n<p>After breakfast I worked on turning an old climbing harness into a hauling harness for manhauling. We don&#8217;t have many harnesses on base and I decided to save 90 pounds and recycle the climbing harness. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/haulingharness.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/haulingharness.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"haulingharness\" width=\"448\" height=\"336\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3297 colorbox-3296\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThe padding in the belt is made from an old thermarest. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/beef.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/beef.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"beef\" width=\"448\" height=\"336\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3300 colorbox-3296\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nBefore I headed out for a hike with Tommy to a small lake above Gull Lake I put a piece of beef and some veg in the oven to slow cook for 10 hours for dinner. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/lake.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/lake.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"lake\" width=\"336\" height=\"448\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3301 colorbox-3296\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nAs you can see it was a truly stunning day with blue skies and a little bit of a breeze. <\/p>\n<p>Seeing as it is Sunday night it is movie night so I must off to the movies!
