I had a really great time making the food for it. My menu was as below. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/armada.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/armada.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"armada\" width=\"448\" height=\"336\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3522 colorbox-3520\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<em>Shrimp filled galleons<\/em> &#8211; phyllo pastry shell filled with shrimp baked in three cheeses with hot sauce, paprika and worchestire on a sea of blue gelatine<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/cannon.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/cannon.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"cannon\" width=\"448\" height=\"336\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3521 colorbox-3520\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<em>Fiery pork cannon balls<\/em> &#8211; thai pork and beef meatballs with a homemade sweet chilli sauce on a bed of crispy noodles. The cannons were drawn by Tommy who I threw a piece of paper and pencil at during smoko and asked him to draw a cannon off the top of his head &#8211; not a bad job. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/eyeball.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/eyeball.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"eyeball\" width=\"336\" height=\"448\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3523 colorbox-3520\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<em>Eyeball Sorbet<\/em> &#8211; homemade strawberry sorbet with a ping pong ball eye and a fabric pirate patch. Still from a batch made by Matt H last year..<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/lime.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/lime.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"lime\" width=\"336\" height=\"448\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3524 colorbox-3520\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<em>Treasure Island Sorbet<\/em> &#8211; homemade fresh lime sorbet with a palm tree made from lime rind and sea made from blue food coloring ice blended<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/DSCN7764.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/DSCN7764.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"DSCN7764\" width=\"448\" height=\"336\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3525 colorbox-3520\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<em>Battered Grenadiers with pieces of eight<\/em> &#8211; Origami newspaper boats with South Georgian Ale Battered Grenadier and round chips. Ali came and helped me out battering the Grenadiers so I could sit down and enjoy the meal rather than being in the kitchen the whole time \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n<p><em>Barrels of meat with pieces of eight<\/em> &#8211; I forgot to get a picture of this. It was Guiness stew with phyllo pastry crust and round chips<\/p>\n<p><em>Hard Tack Sea Biscuits with Cheese<\/em> &#8211; Nothing special just cheese board with biscuits!<\/p>\n<p><em>Birthday Cake<\/em> &#8211; I will post some pictures tomorrow as I didn&#8217;t get a chance to take any pictures of it complete!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/ginger1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/ginger1.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"ginger\" width=\"336\" height=\"448\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3527 colorbox-3520\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/pieces-eight.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/pieces-eight.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"pieces eight\" width=\"336\" height=\"448\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3528 colorbox-3520\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<em>Coffee with mints and ginger biscuits <\/em>&#8211; After eight mints cut into circles and store bought ginger snaps served in origami boxes. I tried to make a proper treasure chest but it was beyond my skill level so I went for the cubes instead!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/parrot.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/parrot.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"parrot\" width=\"336\" height=\"448\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3529 colorbox-3520\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nHanging from each light I made Origami parrots <\/p>\n<p>The rest of the dinner table settings I unfortunately didn&#8217;t take pictures of but I think Ali took some so will post what he has.
