So it was like going to Maiviken as well which was perfect to spend a little time with the chicks. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/kings.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/kings.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"kings\" width=\"448\" height=\"336\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4757 colorbox-4747\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nWe even got some Kings in a river between The Lump (in the background) and Harpon hut. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/harpon.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.racingyachtmanagement.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/harpon.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"harpon\" width=\"336\" height=\"448\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4760 colorbox-4747\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThird time lucky. Finally made it overland to Harpon Hut. There were two Giant Petrels nesting next to the hut. Made just enough time for John to have his cup of tea and then it was a fast trip back to base in less than two hours as we needed to make it back in time for a South Georgia themed dinner prepared by Sam. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Up early to get some fudge made for christmas presents for those on base.
